We need access to Shopify with the requisite permissions. To begin the process, please go to your Shopify admin,
- Click on settings on the bottom left.
- Click on Security under Users on top left.
- Copy the Collaborator Code and send it to your Inflektion onboarding specialist along with your store URL (xxxx.myshopify.com).
- When the request comes in, accept it.
The permissions we request will allow us to:
- Place conversion pixels
- Install our API integrations for seamless coupon code and “pretty link” setup
- Add our personalization code to your theme
- Create and cancel test orders
- Create draft orders for product requests
- Export order data for monthly return reconciliation verification
Here are the permissions you will receive the request for:

Settings > Users and permissions > Collaborators > Inflektion > Store Settings, and then enable the "View customer events" and its sub-checkbox "Manage and add custom pixels" and then hit Save.
It will look like this:
If your Shopify tier uses Roles for Permissions you will find these permissions here:
Navigate to Users and Permissions:
From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Users and Permissions.
Under the Collaborators section, find and click on the collaborator account (e.g., “Inflektion”).
Edit Roles:
In the collaborator’s profile, locate the Roles section.
Ensure the role assigned to our collaborator account has the following permissions granted:
Under Store Settings:
View customer events
Manage and add custom pixels
Note: You can create a new role and assign it to the Inflektion collaborator account as well. Please ensure all of the following permissions are added to the role (including the View Customer Events, Manage and add custom pixels)
