To impersonate a partner, go to Partners, open the partner's details, scroll to Partner Settings > Partner Portal, and click Impersonate in Partner Portal.
Impersonation lets you view the partner portal exactly as a specific partner sees it: their dashboard, stats, links, payments, and resources. It is the fastest way to troubleshoot an issue a partner reports, verify their setup, or confirm what they can access. This feature is available to brand admins only.
Opening the Partner
- In my.inflektion.ai, go to Partners.
- Find the partner by name or ID and click to open their details panel.
Launching Impersonation
- Scroll down the details panel to the Partner Settings section.
- Under Partner Portal, click Impersonate in Partner Portal.
- A new tab opens and authenticates you automatically into the partner portal as the selected partner. There is no separate login or impersonation password.
Switching to Another Partner
You do not need to go back to the Partners list to view a different partner. From the impersonation tab:
- Click the partner dropdown in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Search by partner ID or name, then select the partner you want to view.
- Click Impersonate next to the dropdown.
The portal reloads as the newly selected partner. Repeat as needed.
Viewing the Partner's Portal
Once it loads, you are seeing the portal exactly as that partner does. You can review:
- Program Details: their conversion action, attribution window, commission rate, and payout period.
- Performance: Commission Earnings, Earnings Per Click, Conversion Rate, Upsell Rate, Conversions, Clicks, and Email Leads for any date range.
- Links & Promotion: the tracking and vanity links available to that partner.
- Payments: their payment history and status.
- Marketing Resources: the creatives and assets the partner can access.
Note: you will be restricted from updating the partner's payout information and profile details, for security reasons.
